We work with these organizations to develop and share knowledge on the Mutual Gains Approach, on issue and stakeholder management and similar topics. CBI is a not-for-profit knowledge and consultancy, led by David Fairman and Pat Field. CBI was founded by professor Lawrence Susskind, who nowadays spends much of his time at CBI as Chief Knowledge Officer. WesselinkVanZijst is the Dutch affiliate of the CBI Global Network. Our intensive cooperation with CBI targets the exchange of experience, coaching and developing training material.

The Sustainability Challenge Foundation is an international non-governmental organization seated in the Netherlands. SCF was founded in 1994 by veterans of the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED; Rio de Janeiro 1992). The need for cultural change in the global perception of the intricate relationship between economic development and environmental risk called for new approaches. SCF was one those, focusing on the operationalization of sustainable development.

SCF hosts an annual executive training program, the International Programme on the Management of Sustainability (IPMS). This program deepens the understanding of sustainable development, based on Mutual Gains. Every year senior professionals from around the world come to the Netherlands to share their experiences and leave with new ideas, insights and opportunities for sustainable development in their home country.
